1	Health & Safety Policy -Environmental Policy	Indicates Major Drilling's commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment. Provides proper signature.
2	Respectful Workplace Policy	A commitment by Major Drilling Group International Inc. to create and maintain a workplace in which all employees, regardless of colour, beliefs or creed, are treated with dignity and respect. The acceptance of this policy is a condition of employment.
3	Due Diligence Standard	An annotation of the application of the Due Diligence Standard. Explains what Due Diligence means and the basic requirements to ensure compliance.
4	Communication	Covers (i) How to communicate (ii) How to conduct meetings (iii) New employee induction (iv) Proper Task Instruction (PTI)
5	Critical Task Analysis	Seeks to establish the safest, most economical and efficient method of doing work through an in-depth analysis of the tasks that make up that work. This technique involves analyzing from a perspective of safety, quality and efficiency. This integrated approach gives greater assurance of safety at the point where the work takes place.
6	Task Observation	Is personally observing the performance of people as they go about their work assignments The importance of identifying and evaluating changes in the way people do critical tasks is essential to safe performance. It is a sure method of identifying and preventing sub standard acts and sub standard conditions.
7	Workplace Inspections	Workplace inspections involve the systematic inspections of the organization's facilities, tools, materials and equipment. Inspections are a basic element in the identification and record of hazards for corrective action. They enhance compliance with legislation, company requirements and also improve morale, and increase efficiency.
8	Personal Protective Equipment	The preferred method of controlling potentially dangerous conditions is through engineering controls, work procedures or administrative controls. When controls are not feasible or do not provide sufficient protection, Personal Protective Equipment must be applied to modify or change the potential contact with a source of energy.
9	Accident Investigation	The fundamental reason for conducting accident investigations is to establish the basic causes to prevent a reoccurrence of a similar nature. Common sense dictates that any serious loss should be investigated promptly and thoroughly. This section provides the tools to conduct proper investigations and at the same time establish the real basic causes.
10	WHMIS	This program is designed to assist both employees and employer to understand the risk exposures posed by hazardous substances in the workplace. It also covers supplier, workplace labeling and program implementation.
11	Environmental Management System	A 4-phase Environmental Management System pursuant to ISO 14001 certification. This element explains the process and required documentation.
12	Joint Health and Safety Committee	Explains the necessity and the roadmap to follow in establishing a Joint Health and Safety Committee.
13	Early and Safe return to Work Program	A formal and systematic process of encouraging and supporting injured or disabled employees safe and early return to work. This program is intended to provide employees with an opportunity to gradually transit back to work through conditioning, education regarding safe work practices and work readjustment, while at the same time adding value to the work process.
14	Safety Recognition and Incentive Awards Program	Provides incentives for all employees to create and maintain a safe working environment. It also provides positive behavior reinforcement by recognizing achievements.
15	Critical Task Procedures	A collection of procedures to be followed whenever a task is required to be carried out. It offers the inexperienced and experienced employee a paradigm to follow for the safe, quality and efficient method of carrying out a specific task or work.
