Major Drilling Brings Innovative and Quality Features to PDAC 2020

Major Drilling is partnering to bring innovative and quality features to the world’s premier mineral exploration and mining convention March 1-4 in Toronto, Canada. The Prospectors & Developers of Canada signature PDAC 2020 event is where more than 25,000 industry professionals from 135 countries assemble each year to network, connect and showcase their work to colleagues throughout the worldwide mining industry.

As a PDAC 2020 Premier Sponsor, Major Drilling is bringing six special features for attendees at the four-day event.

Safe Day Everyday Gold Award. Cheer Major Drilling on at the PDAC 2020 opening ceremonies Sunday, March 1. The AME/PDAC Safe Day Everyday Gold award recognizes Major Drilling Canada teams for 1,200,066 hours without a lost-time incident. This is the third consecutive Safe Day Everyday Gold Award for Major Drilling.

Headshot Station. Come to Level 800, Trade Show, beside the Food Pavilion, and sit for a headshot photo, compliments of Major Drilling. These professional photos will be emailed in real time. An updated professional headshot is essential for websites, social media profiles, business cards and more. All Access Pass and Exhibits Day Pass holders receive a ticket with their pass. Headshots are available Sunday – Tuesday, 10 a.m to 4 p.m.

Technical Program. Join Major Drilling’s Corporate Business Development Manager, Kevin Slemko, as he presents “Preparing for the upturn in exploration drilling: Lessons from the downturn” on Wednesday, March 4 at 10:50 a.m. in room 715. This presentation is part of PDAC’s Supply and Services Market Potential session, designed to share timely insights and best practices that can be applied right away.

Innovation Centre. This year Major Drilling introduces its Trailblazer Initiative. The innovative program offers the ability to digitize and automate drilling solutions for a better future. Major Drilling is showcasing these new systems at PDAC 2020 through virtual reality, a touch screen display with drill analytics, a client portal, videos and more.
