In collaboration with KORE GeoSystems, Major Drilling’s Innovation Team has developed RockLens, a drillside imaging unit that captures high resolution core photos and through KORE’s Spector platform, uses AI to produce quick logs, including RQD measurements. With drillside geologic imaging capabilities, images once stored as files in folders on a server are now searchable, indexed, depth referenced and are able to be viewed online anywhere in the world within seconds.
The SafeGrip products provide hands-free rod handling for safety and efficiency. SafeGrip offers compatibility with all rod sizes, 180° multi-axis movement, and automated features to lower strain and risk. SafeGrip UG builds on this with an IP67 rating for tough conditions, the AiVA Pedestrian Detection System for zone monitoring, and Smart Diagnostics with wi-fi enabled support. Both help reduce injuries, boost uptime, and ensure safer operations in various environments.
Rock5 introduces advanced technology to drilling operations, offering improvements in safety, drill performance, and access to real-time data insights. With adaptability to various drill models, it offers an in-house designed dashboard that tracks drill function pressures, water usage, and many more drilling parameters. Its integrated digital co-pilot provides actionable recommendations designed to enhance crew performance and minimize downtime.
The AquaLink unit is a unique control system designed to maximize efficiency and minimize environmental impact by monitoring and adjusting water pump performance in real-time. It features capabilities such as water supply usage monitoring, volume and temperature tracking, and leak detection, ensuring optimal water management and operational efficiency.
This platform is our in-house designed dashboard used to capture production summaries, shift reporting, and deliver reliable data insights on drilling operations. With API capabilities that allow for integration with other platforms, clients stay informed on their drilling projects, and several key performance metrics in a secure environment.

• Patricia Frisch, GeoSolutions Services Manager, participated in a panel discussion as part of the Student & Early Learning Program focused on exploring the wide and often unexpected career paths that drive the global minerals ecosystem.
